Despite spending billions annually on tools to detect online fraud, direct enterprise fraud losses continue to climb. According to a key finding in the 2021 Credential Stuffing Report by F5 Labs and Shape Security, attackers continue to adapt to fraud-protection techniques, creating a need and opportunity for adaptive, next-generation controls around credential stuffing and fraud.
At the same time, current fraud tools require extensive configuration, generate uncertain risk scores, and require fraud teams to develop their own fraud detection rules, which increase friction for legitimate users and result in revenue abandonment.
