Aparna Rayasam

Senior Vice President, Head of Engineering

Aparna Rayasam leads F5’s global engineering organization and is responsible for research, development, architecture, quality, and operations for the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform and the innovative capabilities delivered across the F5 product portfolio.

With over 25 years of experience, Aparna has held roles in architecture, engineering, security research, product management, customer success, and operations. Prior to joining F5 in 2024, she served as SVP of Product at Palo Alto Networks. Her career includes roles as Chief Product Officer at Trellix, SVP and GM at Akamai Technologies, and other senior leadership positions where she created market leading platforms and solutions in application delivery and security.

Aparna holds a B.S. in Information Science and Engineering from Bangalore University, India.
