Inside Channel Account Manager, Singapore

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for increasing revenue in Territory district through identifying, recruiting and developing opportunity generating partnerships with partners and Distributors. In addition, this position is focused on driving the distributors and partners to operate as an extension of F5's Territory sales team through effective sales and technical training, demand generation marketing efforts and mutual business planning.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Interface and support Territory Business Manager in growing YoY sales revenue in the respective assigned Territory district through partners and distributors
  • Manage pipeline/opportunity progression and closure of low resource/lesser revenue (<$25K) opportunities through partners on behalf of Territory Business Manager
  • Build and manage Distributor plans and resources to work with partners to grow F5 business in Territory with plans of action and outcomes and manage and govern accountability for actions and outcomes
  • Co-develop one-to-many campaigns with Distribution and Partners to assist with F5 solution awareness, opportunity development and pipeline growth
  • Run Sales and Channel Programs such as Tech Refresh program etc to generate growth in pipeline
  • Assist F5 sales with information required to accept new deal registrations from channel partners
  • Respond to partner/distributor sales representative requests for additional assistance via phone, email, instant messaging, and web conference related to product sales efforts
  • Call down and follow up and manage Leads from marketing and demand generation activities
  • Channel Enablement – run channel enablement activities (sales, presales and post sales) for partners and distributors as well as leveraging and managing the distributors to provide channel enablement
  • Assist and provide channel operations support such as partner letters and agreements, channel marketing and enablement fund management and channel activity logistic support
  • Marketing & Demand Generation – Leverage F5 channel marketing funds to drive demand generation activities that generate the highest possible ROI.  Manage channel marketing funds to ensure event and partner success.
  • Special Projects & Reporting - Work on strategic initiatives as established by channel management and reporting business issues/opportunities as requested by channel and/or executive management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Proven history in generating new business and managing a sales engagement

  • Excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to be fair & firm.
  • Experience in two-tiered channel resale models
  • Background in software/hardware sales and distribution with networking and security companies
  • Proven track record of success in channel sales and marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of partner organizations, processes, business drivers and internal operations
  • Knowledge of enterprise networks, security and applications (desired)
  • Detailed experience with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel


  • BA in Marketing or Business
  • 3+ years’ experience in technology sales in a channel environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. 
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties will require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
