Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to put their mark on a company, its brand and its identity. We offer a collaborative, fast-paced early stage environment with a high performing team who is focused on bringing a new product to market. We need someone who is creative, authentic and focused on customer success and has experience building grassroots marketing experiences and campaigns for SaaS and technology companies.

As our Marketing Manager you will be responsible for creating and executing our community based high-impact marketing strategy to support Aspen Mesh’s growth initiatives through brand creation and awareness, digital marketing, demand generation, social media campaigns, and customer acquisition and retention activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and execute our marketing strategy to promote our value proposition and product
  • Overall responsibility for creating and maintaining the company brand and identity
  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns that are aligned with sales activities
  • Create and publish copy for websites, social media, blogs and other marketing material
  • Plan and implement educational, promotional and demand generation campaigns
  • Define success metrics for marketing activities and test, monitor and report
  • Use measurements to adjust marketing and product as we explore a nascent market
  • Develop and manage social media presence, interactions and campaigns
  • Manage various media outlets as point of contact and actively contribute content
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to develop marketable product features
  • Work with outside agencies and firms to leverage their services and offerings
  • Plan and prepare content and activities for trade shows and conferences.
  • Oversee the marketing budget

Required Experience and Knowledge

  • B2B marketing and demand generation in enterprise technology and subscription based platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge and best practices in B2B marketing, interactive marketing, social media and lead generation.
  • Hands on experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce etc)
  • Experience incorporating SEO, SEM, organic and paid social media, and demand generation programs
  • Campaign effectiveness tracking, A/B testing, metrics creation and reporting
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Proactive self-starter, detail oriented and operational focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university
  • 4+ years of marketing experience in digital marketing, demand generation, email marketing, or social media campaigns
  • Ability and willingness to travel to attend customer meetings, trade shows, conferences or other activities that business may require
