uRoam Appoints Skip Glass as President and CEO

Technology veteran to help advance company's leadership position in secure user access
uRoam Corporation, the leader in comprehensive secure user access, announced today the appointment of Skip Glass, formerly with Lightspeed Venture Partners, as the company's president and CEO. uRoam delivers complete user access to network and desktop applications, along with collaborative tools for real time information sharing.

Before joining uRoam, Skip Glass served as a venture partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, focused on investments in the areas of software and e-commerce. He has over 20 years of operating experience in technology companies, including three successful start-ups and the management of a $400 million business unit at IBM. Glass came to Lightspeed Venture Partners from Netscape Communications, where he was senior vice president of strategic relationships. Prior to Netscape, he was chief operating officer of KIVA Software, which was acquired by Netscape. Earlier in his career, Glass was vice president of field operations at Illustra and vice president of marketing at Sybase, in addition to a number of senior positions in sales and business development at IBM. Glass holds an MBA degree from the University of Arizona and a BS degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University, Sacramento.
