New F5 Advantage Partner Program Delivers Enhanced Opportunity Lifecycle Management Support

Provides BIG-IP online deal registration and unique partner portal functionality for F5 Gold Advantage Partners in North America
F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced a new F5 Advantage Partner Program designed to help its North American channel partners generate more opportunities and greater revenue on F5 BIG-IP® Application Delivery Networking solutions. The program is supported by tools including a new Web-based partner portal that features a mechanism designed to ensure that both the partner and F5 Networks are exchanging current customer information in a real time environment. Additionally, the program features new online BIG-IP deal registration for partners at all levels of the Advantage Partner Program: Authorized, Premier and Gold.

The new Gold Partner Portal is designed to support channel partners from lead generation through the sale and beyond. It allows Gold channel partners to receive leads generated by F5 and related customer data via the Partner Portal and register both these deals as well as their own opportunities. The Gold Partner Portal also features a business planning module designed to help partners develop and manage opportunities to increase product and value-added service revenues.

With the new deal registration feature, any BIG-IP opportunity evaluated by F5's dedicated channel sales managers is immediately assigned to a channel partner, who has the option to 'register' the deal through F5's Partner Resource Center. Registered deals provide the partner with exclusive access to the opportunity for an initial period of time (with optional renewal) and qualify for additional discounts.
