F5's BIG-IP 8900 System Extends Market-Leading Application Delivery Controller Family

New hardware platform enables enterprises and service providers to consolidate IT infrastructure, reducing costs and carbon footprint while increasing IT agility

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking (ADN), today introduced the F5®BIG-IP® 8900 hardware platform, enabling organizations to integrate advanced ADN functionality and consolidate their IT infrastructures to reduce power, space, and cooling requirements, and the associated costs. With this new platform, large enterprises and service providers can support extremely high levels of application traffic and integrate advanced optimization and security capabilities.
