Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced it has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner, Inc.'s Magic Quadrant for Application Delivery Products, 20071.

According to the Gartner, Inc. report, "A Leader will have exhibited an ability to shape the market by introducing additional capabilities in its product offering and by raising the awareness of the importance of these features. We expect a Leader to be growing market share, or the market as a whole, and to have solutions that resonate with an increasing number of enterprises. Expertise in complex data center application deployment is a necessity to be a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Application Delivery, 2007."

The report also notes that application delivery products are used by enterprises to optimize reliability, end-user performance, data center resource utilization, and security for a variety of enterprise applications. It also states, "The market for products to improve the delivery of application software over networks remains dynamic and innovative. Vendors focused on solving enterprises' most pressing application problems have become the top players."

"For most enterprises, the performance of their business applications equals the performance of their business," said Dan Matte, Senior Vice President of Marketing at F5. "Customers are turning to us to help them resolve the toughest performance issues that can plague business-critical applications. They continue to rely on F5 because, in addition to technological advancements such as our TMOS platform and iRules, we're also determined to propel our customers, partners, and the overall market forward through innovations such as our DevCentral community. We believe that our continued holistic approach to application delivery has enabled F5's position in this Gartner magic quadrant."
