F5 Networks Broadens Partner Opportunities with New and Updated Channel Support

Extensive channel support for F5's FirePass product helps partners capitalize on a fast-growing SSL VPN market

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the leading provider of Application Traffic Management products, has put new, extensive channel support programs behind its top-rated FirePass® SSL-VPN solution in order to drive fresh market opportunities for its partners, particularly those focused on critical enterprise security issues.

For example, F5 featured the FirePass product in a recent seven-city promotional and training tour that included live demonstrations and hands-on experience for partners to help them extend their reach into existing accounts and prospect for new ones. Other key F5 partner resources that have been updated and are available through its Advantage Reseller Program (www.f5.com/partners) include:

  • F5 University - A comprehensive online training center that offers anytime, anywhere learning for busy partner personnel;
  • StrongBox Evaluation Program - An easy, affordable way to place customized F5 evaluation units into customer accounts for assessment in their own working environments;
  • F5 Online Demo Center - Quick access over the Internet from any PC, allowing partners to easily show prospects and customers the features and capabilities of F5's full line of industry-leading products;
  • Dedicated Partner Engineering Team Leader - An experienced and knowledgeable point-of-contact within F5 Networks for partners to access F5 field and sales engineering resources quickly and whenever needed;
  • Market & Business Development Promotional Programs - Periodic market-building promotional campaigns that help drive business into the F5 partner channel, including ongoing motivational rewards programs for F5 partner team members. New programs will launch during the second calendar quarter.
