F5 Networks Appoints Tom Hull as Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Sales

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the leading provider of secure Application Traffic Management products, today announced the appointment of Tom Hull as the Company's Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Sales.

Hull brings to F5 over 16 years of experience in the technology market, holding senior management positions at several industry leading companies. He joins F5 from PictureIQ, an Adobe Systems spinout, where he served as President and CEO. Hull spent two and a half years at PictureIQ where he launched their flagship product, drove product sales, and was instrumental in the asset sale of the Company to Kodak. Before that, Hull held several senior management positions at Visio Corporation (now Microsoft), including Senior VP of Worldwide Sales where he lead a large sales and marketing staff that successfully penetrated Fortune 1000 and Global 500 businesses. Hull has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Hull received options to purchase 225,000 shares of Company stock with a grant date of October 20, 2003 and an exercise price of $23.69 per share. These options will vest 25% one year after the date of grant, and monthly over the following three years. The option agreement contains a change of control provision consistent with the Company's standard practice.
