F5 Networks and Swedish Medical Center Spread Holiday Cheer

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking (ADN), today announced its support of Swedish Pediatric Unit’s annual “Holidays at the Hospital” event on Sunday, December 19. The celebration will feature holiday-themed games and festivities, local celebrities, and a gift drive for children receiving care and treatment at the hospital.

“F5 is proud to support Swedish in reaching out to the Seattle community this holiday season,” said Dan Matte, SVP of Marketing and Business Development at F5 Networks. “Through our company’s charitable giving program, F5 Connects, we encourage employees to become more involved with organizations that have a positive impact on our local neighborhoods and beyond. Swedish’s ‘Holidays at the Hospital’ event is a great opportunity for our employees and their families to help others in need.”

“We’re excited to partner with F5 to help brighten the holidays of our patients in pediatric care as well as their families,” said Dan Dixon, Swedish VP of External Affairs. “Companies like F5 make it possible for us to host special events for the extended Swedish community, and we’re thrilled to be able to supplement our traditional health services with additional programs to enhance the overall care our patients receive.”

The “Holidays at the Hospital” event takes place on Sunday, December 19 at Swedish Medical Center’s First Hill campus. Highlights of the festive celebration include:

  • Holiday-themed games for children and adults
  • Special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Meet-and-greet with professional soccer player Kasey Keller
  • A raffle to benefit Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care

As part of its support for Swedish, F5 Networks has also set up Giving Trees at its Seattle headquarters to give employees the option of contributing gifts or donations throughout the holiday season.
