F5 Launches Web-based Solution Selling Training Program to Drive Channel Partners' Success

F5 steps up training efforts as first vendor to arm channel partners with comprehensive Application Delivery Networking solution selling strategy

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced a new online Partner Solution Selling Training Program designed to arm F5 channel partners with a comprehensive solution selling strategy as part of the company's sales framework. By taking a holistic view of customers' and prospects' individual Application Delivery Networks (ADNs), along with their specific goals and business objectives, F5 is the first vendor to provide a solution-focused ADN and strategy for its channel partners.

The program is available to F5 Advantage Partner sales professionals with access to F5's Partner Resource Center. Initially launching in North America this fall, the online training will be rolled out globally to other regions in late 2007. Incorporated into the F5 Partner Lifecycle Program, this web-based training tool equips channel partner sales teams with information on who to contact, what to know, and how to position F5 technologies during an account engagement. The program was designed to significantly enhance the ability of F5 partners to demonstrate the value of F5 solutions to existing and prospective customers by providing extensive training on how to effectively reach application architects and comprehensively discuss ADNs.
