F5 Launches Powerful Incentive and Rewards Program for TrafficShield and FirePass Resellers

F5's unprecedented investment in program gives resellers a substantial advantage in the market and provides compelling opportunities for partners' salespeople, engineers and executives

(NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Traffic Management, today unveiled its new Secure Advantage Partner Program, the first campaign of its kind from F5 designed exclusively for FirePass® and TrafficShield™ resellers. F5's Secure Advantage program provides ongoing and comprehensive incentives and education for partner salespeople, sales engineers and executives of Security Solution Providers.

The Secure Advantage program is based upon direct partner feedback and delivers numerous benefits, including:

  • "Sweet 16" Deal Registration - An incentive plan that protects a partner's investment in the sales cycle with generous discounts for registered security opportunities.
  • "Sweet 16" Rewards - A program that enables sales and engineering staff to earn points toward prizes such as flat panel TVs and camping gear. Partner personnel can track their progress in the program and spend points on merchandise at a special "Sweet 16" web site.
  • Special Grand Prize - A ski vacation in Banff, Alberta, Canada in Q1 2006 for the top eight sales representatives and their travel companions.
  • Enhanced Education - New training, certification courses, and online resources.

Among the changes, F5 has enhanced its Partner Resource Center to better educate Secure Advantage Program members and is continuing to make improvements in its online training tools and security product certification programs. F5 launched its FirePass certification curriculum in October and will soon offer two new security product certification courses. A F5 University course covering FirePass and advanced online training focused on TrafficShield are currently under development.
