F5 Chosen by Bizportal to Ensure Website Data Integrity for Users and Administrators

BIG-IP Application Security Manager implemented by SecureNet to bolster Bizportal's security posture

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced that Kav-Manche, operator of the financial business website Bizportal, has chosen the F5®BIG-IP® Application Security Manager™ (ASM) to guard against web-based attacks. The project, carried out by data security integrator SecureNet, recently entered into operation after extensive testing.

"We decided to implement F5's BIG-IP ASM after thoroughly examining all the options available on the market," said Tzach Drucker, VP of R&D at Kav-Manche. "Upon completion of the implementation, we checked and verified that the current level of service was not downgraded as a result of adding a protection layer, and that BIG-IP ASM complies with the strict data integrity criteria we are obligated to adhere to. We are confident that BIG-IP ASM allows us to offer our customers a more protected, trustworthy, and safer array of services without sacrificing performance."

"BIG-IP ASM delivers comprehensive protection for web applications and operational infrastructure," said Gad Elkin, Country Manager, Israel at F5. "Bizportal joins the growing list of Israeli sites that trust F5 technology to protect sensitive data."

"The F5 solution allows the Bizportal site a high level of availability, combined with uncompromising data integrity," said Avi Nagar, CEO at SecureNet. "SecureNet will continue to offer F5 as a crucial part of the security portfolio we provide to our customers throughout Israel."
