F5 Brings Application Delivery Expertise to VMworld<sup>®</sup> 2011

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking (ADN), today announced that it will participate in a number of activities at the VMworld® 2011 conference, taking place August 29 – September 1 at The Venetian and The Wynn in Las Vegas. At the show, F5 will highlight its innovative offerings that support virtualization and cloud deployments, including a number of tightly integrated solutions with the VMware platform.

As part of the conference’s executive presentation agenda, F5’s Karl Triebes, SVP of Product Development and CTO, and Dan Matte, SVP of Marketing and Business Development, will discuss “Catching Up to the Cloud: The Network’s Rapidly Evolving Role in ITaaS.” The session will explore the potential of IT-as-a-Service and detail the technological and operational changes necessary to make the network a full-fledged partner in the journey to the cloud.
