F5 Announces Appointment of Myles Bray to Lead UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa Sales Team

STORY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Experienced and effective sales leader joins F5

  • Main concentration will be to drive awareness of how F5’s cloud and data centre focused solutions reduce business cost and complexity

LONDON – F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) announced today the appointment of Myles Bray as Regional Vice President, Sales, for the UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa (UKISSA) region at F5.

Having previously held senior positions at VCE and EMC, Bray is a highly experienced and effective sales leader, most recently playing a key role in VCE’s four-year journey from start-up to billion dollar revenue organisation.

Business trends in cloud, mobility and big data usability prompt organisations to transform the way their IT services are designed and delivered.  As dynamic data centre and agile infrastructure initiatives are developed and implemented, Bray’s primary role at F5 will be to promote customer understanding of how F5 enables users to keep all applications fast, secure and available—a message reinforced by F5’s recently announced Synthesis architectural vision.

“Myles has significant experience in helping customers and partners transform their data centre architectures to deliver impactful IT services,” said Thorsten Freitag, Senior Vice President, Sales, for Europe, Middle East and Africa at F5.  “His experience in this area, across both the enterprise and service provider markets, will be invaluable.  Myles brings a track record of over-achievement, leadership and business understanding to F5.  We feel he will make an immediate impact.”
